The position is based in Torino and will directly report to the Product Quality Manager and, within his/her role, the candidate will be in charge of managing the Product Quality activities for specific Space Program, interacting directly with internal and external Customer.
The focus of this position is to work closely with Production Cells to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts, minimizing waste and disruption to the Production flow and protect the Customer. The candidate will manage Customer Escapes, relevant Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
He/She will even manage Product Audit activity, First Article Inspection process and QN/MRB management.
He/She will support also the contract review process, with the objective to ensure that Customer requirements are properly discussed and addressed.
Professional Requirements:
- Capability to work autonomously and to coordinate interfunctional Teams as needed (strong communication and influential skills).
- Proven experience in Space and / or Aeronautical Companies for at least 3 years (Engineering and Quality)
- Strong capability to lead Root Cause Analysis processes, using adequate tools (5 WHYs, Fishbone)
- Understanding of mechanical Design, part drawings and Technical Specifications
- Knowledge of Space - Aerospace manufacturing plus Assembly & Testing processes
- Able to support Material Review Board and QN processes
- FAI knowledge
- Approved Auditor
- Experience in relationship with Authorities (es. ESA, ASI)
- Plus is knowledge of Special Processes management (Heat Treatments, NDT, Galvanic, Welding);
