The search is aimed at candidates who have graduated or recently graduated with a technical qualification, such as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance.
The selected candidate will be placed in the Operations Area, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
The main responsibilities and duties of the role are as follows:
- Management of production line activities, organisation and coordination of the workforce, and monitoring of production output
- Managing department personnel, ensuring efficiency targets are met, training operators and monitoring compliance with department operating standards
- Coordinating the assembly process, monitoring safety procedures, efficiency and problem solving
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the necessary materials and components are available for production.
- Ensures the implementation of production plans, contributing to the achievement of department saturation targets
- Optimises the production process in accordance with established standards and objectives with a view to continuous improvement, actively participating, highlighting any areas of inefficiency and proposing corrective actions.
- Works to ensure constant maintenance of the plants in collaboration with the maintenance team, in accordance with regulatory and process targets.
