We are seeking an expert Transportation Lead for a contingent opportunity (based on contract award) in South Korea. In this senior-level role, you will oversee transportation coordination, movement operations, and logistics support activities supporting ILS2 Task Order execution and Task 2 mission requirements. You will direct transportation scheduling, cargo movement coordination, routing support, shipment tracking, convoy coordination, and transportation accountability activities associated with the movement of personnel, equipment, and mission support resources across distributed operational environments. You will serve as a primary liaison with cross-functional logistics networks, movement control teams, and government stakeholders to maintain effective and responsive transportation operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Movement Operations Oversight: Direct transportation scheduling, cargo movement coordination, routing support, shipment tracking, convoy coordination, and multimodal transportation accountability.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface and collaborate with logistics personnel, transportation providers, operational units, movement control teams, and government stakeholders to facilitate seamless transport support.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor transportation performance, shipment status, operational priorities, and movement requirements to support continuity of sustainment and mission operations.
- Procedural Implementation: Support the implementation of standard transportation procedures, operational schedules, reporting requirements, and quick-response corrective actions.
- Strategic Planning & Issue Resolution: Lead transport-related issue resolution, long-term transportation planning, operational assessments, and strategic coordination to maintain mission-critical responsiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience: Over 10 years of professional experience coordinating personnel, cargo, equipment, vehicle, maritime, air, ground, or multimodal movement activities across geographically dispersed operating locations.
- Education: Master's (MA/MS) degree preferred for senior-level status.
- Education/Experience Equivalencies:
- High School Diploma / GED: 12+ years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree: 10 years of relevant experience
