About the role
The Barista oversees the coffee, tea, milk and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar, including preparing drinks to order, weekly ordering and inventory, cleaning and maintenance of equipment. The Barista is supported by the rest of the team and ensures colleagues are trained to make coffee and tea beverages when the Barista is not present.
We are seeking a candidates who possess the following qualities:

● Collaborative approach to work and works well in a team environment
● Excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
● Daily morning bar operations, including taking orders, preparing coffee, beverages and food orders, taking payment and delivering superior customer service
● Daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance, specifically coffee equipment
● Oversee initial and continuous training for all team members on coffee menu and barista tasks
● Oversee coffee program: coffee inventory & ordering, manage relationship with coffee, tea, and milk suppliers, propose new and temporary collaborations with guest roasters
Additional Responsibilities
● Maintain all areas (FOH & BOH) clean and tidy: daily and weekly cleaning tasks, washing dishes, stocking fridges & shelves
● Cross-Training: Simple food preparation, basic wine service and cocktail preparation
Experience Required
● Experience with specialty coffee is required
