As a Building Automation Service Engineer, you will be part of our Smart Infrastructure Buildings division, contributing to the successful delivery, commissioning and maintenance of Building Management Systems and comfort solutions.
Your day-to-day activities will include programming and commissioning of products and systems, integration of third-party components into Siemens BMS platforms, and collaboration with customers, project teams and technical stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Performing programming, commissioning and maintenance activities for Building Automation products and systems.
- Integrating third-party components into Siemens Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Supporting commissioning activities through innovative digital tools and solutions.
- Providing remote and on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and ensuring service continuity.
- Coordinating on-site operations and delivery activities in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Monitoring project execution and ensuring compliance with Siemens processes, policies and best practices.
- Contributing to the technical design and development of commissioning and service offerings.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to project sites.
- Building strong customer relationships through a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Core Requirements
- Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Technical Engineer within Building Automation or comfort systems.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, KNX, LON, Modbus and DALI.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems and IP networking.
- Understanding of HVAC, electrical and lighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical panel diagrams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Availability for frequent national business travel and occasional international travel.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Italian.
- Passion for technological innovation and continuous learning.
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities in dynamic project environments.
- Eligibility to work in Italy.
- Knowledge of and ability to program Siemens PXC product family.
- Experience with Desigo CC platform programming and configuration.

The Total Target Cash Pay Range for this position is €44000–€58000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
