JUNIOR ASSETs MANAGER - ITALY
Introduction
If you would like to be part of our Group, we are looking for a Junior Asset Manager based on our Milan office.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the management of Asset Management activities of photovoltaic systems located in Italy, with particular reference to contractual aspects, technical-economic performances and the development of new initiatives and revamping/repowering projects of the company's Group assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all contractual aspects, obligations and obligations relating to the assigned contracts (e.g. O&M agreements, LTSA, SLA, Energy Management) in accordance with the Group guidelines and strategy, involving the departments involved and ensuring adequate coordination;
- Manage the interface with the O&M Operators of the plants for support in the management of technical aspects;
- Maintain contact with the Finance department for accounting, taxes, treasury, planning, controlling & reporting activities and in the preparation of financial statements and other relevant reports and declarations for the assigned companies;
- Support the Legal department on technical-regulatory issues concerning Asset Companies and on Corporate Governance activities, in particular in the preparation of material for the Boards of Directors;
- Support in the management of specific Project Finance contracts (in particular on reporting, covenant calculation, updating financial models) also interfacing directly with banking institutions;
- Monitor the legislation in force and its evolutions in reference to incentives and related (white certificates, GRIN convention, high efficiency cogeneration, photovoltaic incentives, guarantees of origin);
- Periodically verify and monitor the energy metering of the systems by directly managing the active invoicing processes in order to guarantee the regular flow of revenues to the companies;
- Check the technical reports and request further clarifications if necessary to ensure adequate monitoring of the systems' performance. Collaborate with technical areas to ensure the availability of resources to implement improvement initiatives;
- Verify, in collaboration with the technical areas involved, the impact of new improvement projects and propose their implementation based on the business case and risk assessment;
- Prepare business plans and budgets for the assigned companies with the aim of maximizing the profitability of the assets;
- Support and/or prepare internal periodic reporting and that requested by the departments involved;
- Manage the obligations required with the dispatching user, with the market, with the network manager, with the regulator and/or with other institutions regarding contractual or market requirements;
- Manage relationships with the main stakeholders of the assigned companies and coordinate their activities in the event of authorization requirements and/or adjustments;
- Manage contractual relationships with landowners for the surface rights of the assets and guarantee compliance with existing economic obligations;
- Collaborate with the Thermal area for asset management activities jointly with both assets.
Skills and qualities
- Degree in one of the following fields: engineering, economics of financial markets, economics and commerce
- At least 2 years' experience in companies operating in the renewable energy sector
- Excellent knowledge of the rules that regulate the financial market
- Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
- Excellent command of asset allocation and risk management techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Good attention and ability to read the regulated regulatory aspects
- Predisposition for teamwork and relationships with various internal and external contacts
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of operating systems (Office, Sap)
- Good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level)
- Knowledge of the French language is a plus
