IT & Facilities Maintenance Technician (English & Italian)

Salary: €44,000 – €55,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT & Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation of our IT infrastructure, technical systems, and facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support, maintaining technical equipment and building systems, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for computers, printers, mobile devices, networks, and Microsoft 365.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Support and maintain CCTV, access-control, and other security-related systems.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and connectivity.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for maintenance and technical works.
- Obtain quotations from multiple companies and evaluate proposals based on quality, reliability, service standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed according to agreed specifications and timelines.
- Maintain records of IT assets, maintenance activities, and technical documentation.
- Assist with office improvements, installations, and technical projects as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, facilities maintenance, technical operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, hardware troubleshooting, and general IT infrastructure.
- Experience with CCTV, access-control systems, and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, reliable, and service-oriented approach.
Essential Requirement
Candidates must demonstrate strong experience in dealing with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, including:
- Obtaining and comparing quotations from multiple vendors.
- Identifying reputable and qualified companies for technical and maintenance works.
- Evaluating offers to ensure the best balance of quality, reliability, and cost.
- Following up with contractors to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of works.
- Building and maintaining effective professional relationships with external service providers.
Language Requirements
Fluency in all of the following languages is mandatory:
- English
- Italian
- Arabic (not mandatory)
Both written and spoken proficiency are required.
