We are looking for an Assistant Director of Finance who combines analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong business acumen to support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office and contribute to the hotel’s financial performance. In the absence of the Director of Finance, who oversees the function at cluster level, this role will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Finance Office, ensuring continuity, control, and operational efficiency.
YOUR MISSION:
- Support the daily management of accounting operations, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and cash flow control.
- Ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Oversee audit processes and support compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and local regulations.
- Provide timely financial reports, analysis, and insights to support operational decision-making.
- Partner with department leaders to improve efficiency, profitability, and financial awareness across the property.
- Contribute to maintaining a strong control environment that protects assets and supports business objectives.
WHAT MAKES YOU A W TALENT:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- European passport or a valid Italian work permit is required.
- Italian is not mandatory; however, if you do not speak Italian, we will only consider candidates with previous experience within Marriott International.
