As Avio Aero Export Control Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the integration of regulatory export control requirements across Avio Aero business operations.
You will sit within the Avio Aero International Trade Compliance (ITC) function and works closely with Legal and business stakeholders to help ensure compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of regulatory export control requirements across business operations, with a primary focus on regulatory controls, recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance process execution.
Essential Responsibilities
Execute regulatory control activities required under applicable export control regulations, including recordkeeping, mandatory communications with relevant authorities, shipment and intangible transfer documentation, and proof-of-arrival tracking.
Maintain and monitor export control records and registers required by law, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, timely, and audit-ready.
Track and report relevant compliance KPIs associated with regulatory control obligations and records management activities.
Support the improvement of internal procedures and work instructions to ensure proper implementation and flow-down of national export control requirements for military and dual-use operations.
Ensure compliance of collaboration tools, databases, and record systems with regulatory and internal compliance requirements for both tangible and intangible transfers.
Support internal audit readiness and execution related to national export control regulation application, and contribute to external audit support activities as needed.
Partner effectively with Legal and cross-functional business teams to support compliant business execution in a dynamic operating environment.
Basic Qualifications
University degree; Law or International Relations background preferred.
Knowledge of export control laws and regulations, particularly Italian Law 185/90 and EU Dual Use Regulation 821/2021.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, assess compliance impacts, and support practical process improvements.
Fluent Italian and English.
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required.

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – Level B2
Salary range for this role: 41,850.00 - 55,800.00 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 EUR
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
