This position provides a comprehensive overview of the Group's strategic priorities across all business lines and geographies, with direct exposure to the senior leadership team. Many former members of the team have gone on to take on operational or strategic roles elsewhere in the Group, leveraging the broad exposure this position provides.
We are looking for a new team member. As a strategic advisor, you will act as an internal strategy consultant, working directly for the Executive Committee and senior leadership on a wide range of topics across the organization.
As part of the Strategic Planning team, you will act as an internal strategy consultant, working directly for the Executive Committee and senior leadership on a wide range of topics across the organization. You will:
- Identify and investigate emerging or under-explored subjects that could represent mid- to long-term opportunities or risks for the company. Conduct research, build data models and interview stakeholders across and outside the organization to create new insights.
- Formulate structured recommendations for the Executive Committee and senior leadership team. Communicate findings through compelling presentations or reports to inform decisions are different levels.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams across the Group to identify weak signals, sharpen recommendations and also federate and facilitate their implementation.
- Lead cross-functional and international projects with significant strategic impact, from framing through to operational implementation. Track and follow up on strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in one of the Group's main business lines (energy transition, data centers, power distribution and wiring devices, digital lifestyles).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally including consulting or operational/industrial roles within a large organization.
- Hypothesis-driven and analytically rigorous, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, connect the dots across disparate information, and uncover insights from unconventional sources.
- Intellectual resourcefulness—comfortable navigating topics with no existing playbook.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders and foster strong team spirit.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures in an international environment.
- Fluent English required, French is a plus.
