The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Enterprise Account Manager to join our Nutanix Italy team, focusing on the Enterprise segment. You will drive growth by developing and expanding relationships with key enterprise customers across Northern Italy, primarily in the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) market, followed by Oil & Gas and Manufacturing sectors. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, partnering closely with customers on their cloud transformation journeys and bringing the Nutanix Cloud Platform to life in mission-critical enterprise environments.
About the Team
You’ll be joining an experienced and collaborative sales team passionate about driving cloud transformation for some of Italy’s largest enterprise organizations. The mission of the team is to develop and expand relationships with key enterprise customers across Italy, particularly in the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) markets, while also addressing the needs of sectors like Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
You will report to the Country Manager, who leads with a focus on mentorship and open communication, fostering an environment where team members feel valued and supported. The work setup for this role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility, although there might be a requirement to attend the office in Milan as needed for collaboration and team-building purposes.
This role requires frequent travel, with an expectation of 40-50 percent travel time to engage directly with clients, attend meetings, and represent Nutanix at relevant industry events across the region.
Your Role

Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account management within your assigned territory.

Develop strategic relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers across key enterprise accounts, focusing on long-term business growth.

Leverage Nutanix’s technology and partner ecosystem to deliver innovative cloud, data, and hybrid solutions to enterprise clients.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Channel Managers, and Marketing teams to design and execute targeted account strategies.

Maintain accurate forecasts and manage customer information using Salesforce and Power BI.

Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and performance metrics.

Represent Nutanix at relevant industry events and maintain strong visibility in the enterprise ecosystem.
What You Will Bring

5–10 years of sales experience in the enterprise IT market, ideally within software, cloud, or modern application environments.

Proven track record of success with financial services, banking, or insurance clients.

Experience at hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft) or modern tech companies (CrowdStrike, Databricks, etc.) is highly valued.

Strong network and demonstrable relationships with key decision-makers in Northern Italy.

Native-level Italian and fluent English are required.

Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.

A self-starter attitude with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel up to 40% within Northern Italy.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
Pay Transparency
The OTE range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between EUR €179,200 and EUR €268,800 per year. Please note that OTE offered may vary depending on relevant objective factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
