For our Rome store, we are looking for a passionate and client-oriented Sales Assistant who will contribute to delivering an excellent customer experience and represent the values, elegance and identity of Campomarzio70.
Role
The Sales Assistant is a key ambassador of Campomarzio70 within the store. The role is responsible for welcoming and assisting clients, supporting sales activities, ensuring a high-quality service experience and contributing to the achievement of store objectives.
The Sales Assistant reports to the Store Manager.
The ideal candidate has a strong passion for beauty, artistic perfumery and luxury retail, together with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural attitude towards client care.
Main Responsibilities
Client Experience
Deliver a refined, personalized and memorable experience to every client, in line with the identity and service standards of Campomarzio70.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients with elegance, professionalism and attention to detail.
- Understanding client needs through active listening and a consultative approach.
- Providing personalized advice on fragrances, beauty products and lifestyle selections.
- Building trusted relationships with local and international clients.
- Contributing to client loyalty through attentive, consistent and high-quality service.
- Supporting private appointments, clienteling activities and personalized shopping experiences.
- Handling client requests with courtesy, discretion and problem-solving attitude.
Sales and Product Advisory
Support sales performance by offering expert product advice and contributing to the achievement of individual and store targets.
The Sales Assistant will:
- Actively contribute to store sales objectives.
- Develop strong knowledge of the brands, products and olfactory families represented by Campomarzio70.
- Present products with confidence, sensitivity and storytelling ability.
- Support cross-selling and up-selling activities in a natural and client-focused way.
- Maintain awareness of key commercial indicators such as sales targets, conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction.
- Work closely with the Store Manager and the team to identify commercial opportunities.
Store Operations
Support the daily operational activities of the store, ensuring accuracy, order and compliance with company procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting opening and closing activities, where required.
- Assisting with cash desk operations in accordance with company procedures.
- Supporting stock handling, product replenishment and warehouse organization.
- Participating in inventory activities and product checks.
- Ensuring that the store is always clean, organized and aligned with luxury retail standards.
- Respecting company policies, security procedures and operational guidelines.
Visual Merchandising and Brand Image
Contribute to maintaining the aesthetic identity of Campomarzio70 through an elegant, coherent and refined product presentation.
The Sales Assistant will:
- Support the correct implementation of visual merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain product displays with care, precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure that shelves, counters and display areas are always orderly and visually appealing.
- Contribute to creating a refined store atmosphere consistent with the positioning of the brand.
- Support product launches, animations and seasonal focuses according to company guidelines.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and the sales team to ensure a positive, professional and high-performing store environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with colleagues in a respectful, proactive and solution-oriented way.
- Sharing product knowledge, best practices and useful client insights.
- Supporting the team during peak traffic moments and store events.
- Contributing to a positive and motivating working atmosphere.
- Receiving feedback with openness and demonstrating willingness to grow professionally.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within luxury retail, beauty, artistic perfumery, lifestyle, design or fashion.
- Strong passion for beauty, fragrances, artistic perfumery and refined client experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Natural client orientation and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, elegance, discretion and professionalism.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and reliability.
- Fluent Italian and good command of English; knowledge of a third language will be considered a plus.
- Availability to work according to retail schedules, including weekends and holidays where required.
