THE ROLE
We design and deliver high-performance optical systems for ground-based and space applications, operating in complex and multidisciplinary environments where precision, reliability, and coordination are essential to mission success.
We are looking for a Program Manager responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects within a program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and successful delivery in terms of scope, schedule, cost, and quality. The role requires strong leadership, structured project control, and the ability to effectively manage risks, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout the entire project life cycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program and project management activities, including:
Coordination and control of overall project activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives
Acting as primary interface with customers, ensuring clear communication and reporting
Management and coordination of subcontractors and external partners
Preparation and maintenance of Project and Management Plans, including schedule definition, cost control, and progress monitoring
Implementation and monitoring of risk management activities, including definition and execution of corrective actions
Preparation and maintenance of Risk Assessment Reports and Risk Registers
Management of Change Requests, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, and implementation
Coordination of configuration management and project documentation activities
Support to Procurement in supplier coordination and management
Planning, preparation, and participation in technical and program reviews and project meetings
Monitoring of program progress, identifying potential issues and ensuring timely resolution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in a technical field, preferably Engineering or Physics
Mechanical engineering background is considered a strong asset
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Program or Project Management
Strong problem-solving skills and structured analytical approach
Proactive mindset with strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Excellent teamworking attitude and ability to collaborate across functions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural, and international environments
Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Motivation to grow professionally and take increasing responsibility in complex programs.
