Within the IT INFRA Global Network Team and under its governance, the IT Network Specialist missions within the team are:

Maintain, secure and manage existing enterprise-wide network infrastructure both on-prem and on-cloud
- Contribute to the design of the future global network and its implementation

Contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable and highly available services and applications

Design and implement network security for business-critical services
L3 support and troubleshooting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing communication networks within an organization or between organizations.
-
Ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance.
-
Deploy networking environment by defining, implementing, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
-
Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
-
Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
-
Support and administration of Load-balancing services.
-
Configuration of routing and switching equipment’s.
-
Support to NOC and on-site engineers.
-
Troubleshooting and faults finding if issues occur.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to Global Network Manager questions and inquiries in a positive and constructive manner.

Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.

Participate in defining and implementing project good practices and quality processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
General:Experience in network design, network administration, technical support and network operations
Technical:

Knowledge of Networking technologies, standards and best practices

Hands-on experience of switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers, preferably with experience across multiple vendors (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, NetScaler)

Cloud expertise in design, configuration and optimization, both for IaaS and PaaS solutions

Log management, alerting, monitoring

Project management

Troubleshooting, optimization, capacity planning

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria)
Employment Category: White-collar employee
Gross Annual Salary (RAL): between €26.843,44 and € 33.058,74 gross per year, paid over 13 monthly installments.
The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level (C2, C3, B1 or B2 under the applicable CCNL) will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
