Rome in a Golf Cart & Sidecar Tours – Hiring OTA Product Specialist / Secretary
Rome in a Golf Cart, a well-established and highly rated company in the tourism sector based in Trastevere (Rome), is expanding its team and is looking for a highly qualified Secretary specialized in OTA product creation and management.
Candidates who only have experience handling bookings or customer service will NOT be considered.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)
Applicants must have proven, hands-on, independent experience with the following platforms:
- Viator
- GetYourGuide
- Tripadvisor
- FareHarbor (MANDATORY)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate must be able to:
- Create, upload, and optimize tour products on OTA platforms
- Work independently on FareHarbor:
- Product setup
- Availability management
- Calendar configuration
- Booking system organization
- Monitor availability and bookings in real time
- Manage and structure the operational calendar (daily services)
- Coordinate and plan services efficiently
- Improve product performance and sales across OTA channels
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full operational management of booking systems (NOT basic reservation handling)
- Daily service planning and scheduling
- OTA product creation, updates, and optimization
- Coordination with the operations team
- Communication with international clients
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven experience in the tourism sector (private and group tours)
- Strong knowledge of:
- IPAGE
- Excel
- Mandatory hands-on experience with FareHarbor
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Fluent English (mandatory)
WORKING SCHEDULE
WORKING SCHEDULE
- Part-time: 30 hours per week
- Work includes Saturday and Sunday (weekend availability is required)
- Weekly schedule will be organized across weekdays and weekends
- Any additional shifts will be compensated accordingly
