payments The minimum gross annual salary for this position in Italy is €31,000. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities
You support our team as
- Procurement Operations: Manage end-to-end purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution with approved vendors.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support performance and continuous improvement initiatives, from early exploration, to quotation and negotiation phases.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with SCM to oversee raw material inventory levels and define appropriate replenishment strategies.
- Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Data & Documentation Management: Ensure data accuracy and maintain standardized procurement documentation across systems.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Align processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and data consistency.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a related operational role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory control principles.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain data accuracy across systems.
- Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with different departments in an international environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive negotiations in complex environments.
- Systems Affinity: Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain tools is considered a plus.
- Languages: Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage in an international customer and plant network.
