We are looking for a passionate, service-driven, and highly motivated Sommelier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Reschio’ s philosophy, service standards, and operational procedures. As an ambassador of our wine culture, you will guide guests through thoughtfully curated wine journeys, creating memorable moments through expertise, storytelling, and genuine hospitality. Main Responsibilities

Build genuine and professional relationships with guests, colleagues, and suppliers, ensuring every interaction reflects the values of Reschio.

Deliver an exceptional wine service through engaging storytelling, confidently recommending pairings and sharing knowledge that enriches each guest's dining experience.

Anticipate guests' needs with discretion, warmth, and meticulous attention to detail.

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across the restaurant, wine cellar, back-of-house areas, and all guest-facing materials.

Train and mentor restaurant colleagues in wine knowledge and service standards, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.

Foster a positive, collaborative working environment while strengthening relationships across departments.

Ensure the timely collection and management of all operational materials required for service. Monitor the correct use, maintenance, and care of equipment, furnishings, and operational materials.

Deliver comprehensive shift handovers, ensuring consistency and continuity between teams.

Verify that all operational areas are securely closed at the end of each shift.

Ensure full compliance with HACCP regulations and all company health and safety procedures.
Skills and Competencies

Proven experience as a Sommelier within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.

Certification from a recognised wine institution (such as WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, AIS, or equivalent).

Outstanding knowledge of Italian and international wines, with a genuine passion for Umbrian terroir and local producers.

Ability to engage guests through personalised recommendations and memorable wine experiences.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, discreet, and professional approach.

A meticulous eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Fluency in both English and Italian.
Compensation & Pay Transparency

Employment Type: Seasonal employment (CCNL Turismo – Level 3).

Salary Range: €30,000– €35,000.
The advertised salary range reflects Reschio's assessment of the expected remuneration for this position.
Individual offers within the stated range will be determined through the consistent application of objective, documented and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, specialist expertise and the level of responsibility associated with the role.
