As Health & Safety Specialist, part of your responsibilities will be to identify, assess and reduce Health & Safety risks, ensuring that all legal requirements, internal standards and procedures are correctly implemented and followed on the shopfloor, by contractors and across all relevant activities.
You will perform and update risk assessments, support audits and follow-up activities, and ensure that working conditions comply with all applicable Health & Safety regulations. You will contribute to incident investigations, root cause analyses and the definition of preventive and corrective actions, while overseeing H&S KPI monitoring, preparing regular reports, ensuring proper use of internal tools and follow-up of defined action plans.
You will manage and maintain Health & Safety documentation required by external agencies, companies and regulatory bodies, provide technical support on the interpretation and application of Health & Safety legislation, and support the implementation and effective control of corporate procedures and policies across different functions. You will also support the implementation of the emergency organization in alignment with the plant emergency plan.
Following Group and Country guidelines, you will contribute to the development, review and updating of local operational work instructions and procedures applied in working areas (e.g. Machine Safety, Lo.To.To, Management of Change, Confined Spaces), while supporting the continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System through the creation and revision of dedicated procedures.
In addition, you will plan, coordinate and deliver H&S training activities, fostering a strong safety culture through regular shopfloor interactions, Gemba Walks, engagement initiatives and internal communication campaigns. You will coach managers and employees to take ownership of safety responsibilities, promote wellbeing initiatives, and increase awareness through continuous presence and dedicated campaigns.
You will also contribute to the implementation of H&S LEAN manufacturing practices, including KPIs, SOPs, OPLs, RCA, Safety Maps, PPE Matrix, KK and SMED, supporting the continuous enhancement of safety performance and operational excellence across the organization.
