Software Engineer:
TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for an Avionic Software Engineer to join software design and development activities in the avionics domain at the premises of an important customer in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
The selected candidate will work within a structured avionics software development environment, contributing to requirements analysis, design, implementation, validation and certification activities for Embedded Real-Time applications.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze high-level avionics specifications provided by the system engineering team
Define and write software requirements (HLR) for Embedded Real-Time avionics applications
Design and develop avionics software
Perform bug fixing activities during testing campaigns
Collaborate with the testing and validation team
Support software certification activities, including code, test and requirements reviews, structural coverage analysis and technical documentation preparation
Required technical skills:
Good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
Good knowledge of the English language
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of DO-178C avionics standards
Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS
Knowledge of IBM Rational Rhapsody (SYSML/UML)
Knowledge of the Embedded Real-Time operating system Integrity 178B ARINC 653
Knowledge of Polyspace tools (Bug Finder and Code Prover) by MathWorks
Education:
Technical diploma or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:
