Job Description:
Month-End & Year-End Closing

Act as the primary point of contact for all finance-related processes for assigned entities.

Own and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including payroll, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and other closing adjustments.

Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, including GR/IR, inventory-related accounts, and other key closing balances.

Review and analyze AR and AP aging reports, perform related AR/AP accounting and reconciliations, and follow up on outstanding or reconciling items

Perform accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, including cost accounting, inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), and variance analysis between standard and actual costs.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.

Support tax and VAT compliance, including quarterly and annual filings.

Coordinate year-end specific activities such as actuarial and pension provisions and transfer pricing adjustments.

Identify and drive improvements to closing processes, internal controls, and efficiency.
Audit & Compliance

Be the primary contact for external audits, prepare essential documentation, and facilitate audit processes.

Ensure compliance with SOX requirements through regular monitoring and execution of controls.
Process Optimization

Continuously improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.
Financial Reporting

Handle US GAAP tax reporting, along with various period-end reports and ad hoc reporting.
Additional Responsibilities

Work closely with tax advisors, accounting providers, and Corporate Tax to determine deferred tax.

Conduct statistical analysis, research, and support internal process optimization.
What You’ll Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, or Business Informatics

Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting.

Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (VBA is a plus) and proficiency with SAP, Outlook, and statistical software

Familiarity with Italian accounting standards, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements

Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy and analytical ability

Languages: Fluent in English and Italian
Compensation Information:
The expected annual gross salary range for this position is between 44.000 and 58.000 EUR. The final offer will be determined based in the candidate´s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
