The Institute for Biomedicine, located at Bolzano's science and technology park NOI Techpark, is dedicated to improving health through precision prevention research. This interdisciplinary effort seeks to predict, slow or preempt illness progression by understanding genetic, biological, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Utilizing a decade-long population study in collaboration with the South Tyrolean Healthcare Service, the institute offers access to extensive data and biological materials suitable for such research. With a focus on neurological, cardiovascular, and metabolic health, the team employs state-of-the-art labs and innovative management to span the full translational research cycle, from data generation to potential clinical application.
For our operational team we are seeking a highly motivated collaborator to provide our researchers with support in third party funding acquisition and management. As a project assistant, your main task is the organizational, administrative and financial management of all project activities (including communication) of third party funded projects.
Tasks:
Active contribution to the acquisition of external funding.
Supporting the project managers in the initial phase of project and budget planning (preparing all the requested documentation).
Providing project managers with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.
Monitoring of project deliverables/milestones achievement.
Supervision of dissemination and exploitation activities.
Preparing official projects financial reports (collection of all accounting documents, invoices, timesheet, uploading data on the different web portals, etc).
Being the administrative project’s contact person.
Monitoring receivable income.
Requirements:
BSc or MSc in economics or life sciences or equivalent experience in project accounting.
Experience in administration, controlling, management, preferably in a scientific institution.
Experience as a Project Accountant of European Projects (FESR-EFRE; Interreg ITA-AUT; Interreg ITA-CH; H2020; COST; LIFE; PNRR; etc).
Knowledge of Italian accountancy system.
Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
Very good knowledge of Italian, written and spoken. German, welcome but not necessary.
Extreme precision, stress resistance.
Capability to work in a structured, motivated and autonomous way.
Interest in biomedical research.

Gross annual salary ranging from 39.658,54 € to 46.842,19 €

Gross Annual Salary range: the gross annual salary range is primarily linked to the advertised position, its requirements and expected level, and is defined according to Eurac Research’s internal remuneration framework. The candidate’s highest academic degree and any relevant professional experience documented in the CV are taken into account where applicable, but always within the salary range defined for the advertised position. The range also reflects whether the position is full-time or part-time.
