The ICT Business Analyst bridges the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions. The role supports the delivery of software projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The successful candidate combines strong analytical skills with a collaborative approach to drive business value and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and requirements traceability.

Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.

Support solution validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release activities.

Produce and maintain functional documentation while facilitating communication between business and technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a similar IT Business Analysis role.

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).

Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

In compliance with applicable pay transparency legislation, we provide the following information regarding the initial remuneration envisaged for this position.
The position will be classified within the Employee category, at one of the C2, C3, B1 or B2 levels under the Italian Metalworking Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).
The classification level and any additional remuneration components supplementing the base salary will be determined based on an assessment, carried out during the selection process, of objective and neutral criteria such as, by way of example, the candidate’s professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy and the responsibilities required by the role.
