As an IT Service Desk Technician, your role involves managing IT systems and providing support to colleagues across all Dr. Schär Group locations, helping them with their devices, accounts, and key applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Support IT systems in manufacturing environments
- Classify and prioritize user requests using our IT Service Management tool
- Resolve issues directly or escalate them to specialized IT teams
- Configure, maintain, and support client devices and peripherals
- Set up new workplaces, laptops, and desktops
- Collaborate on IT projects
- Maintain the internal IT documentation and the knowledge base
- Occasionally travel to company locations as required
