As Advanced Program Manager you will be responsible for managing a group of GEA Commercial Programs.
You will possess comprehensive knowledge of financial and business concepts, contract/PO management, best practices, processes, and procedures.
You will collaborate across company functions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving business profitability through operational excellence, leveraging lean principles and risk management strategies.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for executing the Programs, ensuring milestones are met in terms of timing, financials, and quality, while utilizing all applicable project methodologies and standard work practices
Achieve company economic, financial, and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including initiatives for margin expansion
Manage all the relevant program KPIs, profitability metrics, invoicing processes, contract payment milestones
Lead the cross-functional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.) across locations in Rivalta, Pomigliano, Brindisi, and Bielsko-Biała
Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with GEA Counterparts, enhancing satisfaction on current programs and identifying opportunities for new initiatives
Conduct regular risk assessments and oversee the execution of mitigation activities to address key risks
Accountable for Program Profitability initiatives by working closely with the involved teams to achieve assigned targets and sharing progress updates with OTR and Finance Senior Leadership
Execute phase-and-gate methodology for NPI, driving and supervising cost-out initiatives
Update, review, and maintain business plans; provide timely internal reporting in accordance with defined standards, and continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency
Leverage the FLIGHT DECK approach in process management to maximize execution quality
Support the Change Manager during the incorporation of new modifications, ensuring alignment with timelines, costs, and customer needs
Support PCB preparation as needed across all company levels, including Senior Leadership
Support all the phases of an offer according to company processes
Required Qualifications
STEM Master's Degree from an accredited university
Solid experience in management of complex projects in a structured company
Good risks management and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead across functional and customer/supplier teams, both on-site and remotely
Strong communication skills with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management
Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team/organization
Demonstrated financial acumen and expertise in riskmanagement
Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – level A1
Salary range for this role: 56.625,00 - 75.500,00 + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
