About the Role
JLL's Private Wealth Capital Markets team in Milan is seeking a talented Real Estate Analyst. The PW practice was founded in January 2024 in JLL Italy to support high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices in their real estate investment and divestment strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with sophisticated private clients, conducting market analysis, financial modeling, and providing strategic advisory across multiple asset classes mainly in the real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Research You will conduct comprehensive analysis of real estate markets across various asset classes, preparing detailed information memorandum, market reports and sector studies tailored to client needs. This includes evaluating asset performance using standard industry KPIs and analyzing market comparables. Your analytical work will directly inform client investment decisions and portfolio strategies.
Financial Modeling & Valuation A core component of your role involves analyzing, interpreting, and modifying real estate discounted cash flow (DCF) models to evaluate investment opportunities. You will prepare sensitivity analyses and alternative scenarios to help clients understand risk-return profiles, and support the team in pricing and structuring transactions. While building DCF models from scratch is not required, this capability would be considered a valuable asset.
Client Service & Transaction Support You will participate in client meetings and property site visits alongside investors and real estate stakeholders, gaining direct exposure to high-level investment discussions. Your responsibilities include preparing presentations and informational materials for clients, and providing support throughout due diligence processes for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. You will also assist with daily back-office activities such as KYC/AML, contract reviews, and invoicing to ensure smooth transaction execution.
