For our established and vibrant location in Milan, we are looking for a General Manager to support operations, lead the team, and maintain the high standards of performance and guest engagement that define our brand.

What we offer:
- Permanent, full-time contract (Contratto a tempo indeterminato).
- Classification: Level Quadro (CCNL Turismo).
- Salary package: €40,000 - €45,000 gross (commensurate with experience).
Who are we looking for?
We need a proactive leader with a solid understanding of the hospitality industry—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves challenges, and is ready to embrace long-term professional growth.
- A hospitality professional with a solid background in the sector and proven experience in key managerial roles such as General Manager or Operations Manager
- Growth mindset: A professional who is eager to step up, take full accountability for the venue's results, and aspires to take on greater responsibilities within our growing network.
- Travel flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel across our different Squares up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months for onboarding, training, and cross-location alignment.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience overseeing large, diverse teams.
- Fluent in Italian and English (any other language is a plus).
- A problem solver with a hands-on approach—we need someone who doesn’t just manage but makes things happen.
- Tech-savvy mindset – comfortable with digital tools, software, and IT systems to efficiently manage operations.
- A hostel/hybrid hospitality veteran or enthusiast :)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Operational Excellence: Overseeing and coordinating all Square teams – including Kitchen, Bar/Reception, and Maintenance – ensuring smooth daily operations and an outstanding experience for both guests and staff.
- Headquarters Alignment: Collaborating closely with the YellowSquare corporate office based in Rome and all central departments (People, Finance, Creative, Innovation, and Vision) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Team Leadership: Acting as the primary point of contact for employees – supporting, guiding, and motivating your team while fostering an inclusive, safe, and dynamic work environment.
- Performance & Innovation: Implementing strategic approaches to optimize overall performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Crisis Management: Handling critical situations calmly and effectively, whether it's managing difficult guest scenarios, resolving internal conflicts, or responding to unexpected emergencies.
- Local Compliance: Ensuring the Square operates smoothly and in full compliance with Italian regulations and local operational requirements.
