THE ROLE
During your internship you will work on a project in the Cultural Heritage Technologies (https://www.iit.it/it/web/cultural-heritage-technologies) group, coordinated by Arianna Traviglia. This group focuses on Chemistry applied to cultural heritage
Your activity will comprise
- Optimization of chitosan-based formulation
- Physicochemical characterization
And will allow you to develop competences in
- Formulation of biopolymer-based coating
- Analysis of conservation-oriented materials
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- To be registered as a student in an undergraduate master’s degree programme in Chemistry, Materials science or a cognate field of study for the entire duration of your stay at IIT
- To have a good command of spoken and written English
- To rely on funding from your University’s Erasmus+ programme
