Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA) is an international architecture and design studio with offices in Turin and New York. Founded by MIT professor Carlo Ratti, CRA sits at the intersection of design, technology, and urban innovation, developing projects that range from buildings and public spaces to large-scale urban strategies. The Role
CRA is seeking a BIM Specialist to support BIM modelling, coordination, and process management across project phases. The selected candidate will work closely with the design teams and report directly to the BIM Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models throughout all project stages.
- Support the BIM Manager in preparing and implementing BIM Execution Plans.
- Coordinate technical modelling aspects and ensure model quality and consistency.
- Contribute to maintaining internal BIM standards, libraries, and workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth data integration.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in BIM roles within the architecture field.
- Knowledge of BIM standards (UNI 11337, ISO 19650).
Skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Interest in innovation and collaborative workflows.
Software
- Experience with clash detection; scripting skills (Dynamo/Python) are considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM 360; familiarity with Rhino and AutoCAD is a plus.
