Job Title: CdP – Expanding privately owned restaurant chain
We are looking for a talented CdPs, from Junior to Senior CdP's to join our team and complete our kitchen operations
Location: Adriatic Coast of Croatia (Venues in Split, Hvar, Korcula and Zagreb)
Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate CdP willing to demonstrate creativity and know how, to join this exciting venture on the Adriatic coast of Croatia.
Job Specification
- Runs a station independently during service
- Consistent execution, plating, and timing
- Trains junior staff on station basics
- Knows kitchen systems and respects them and uses them daily
- Maintains cleanliness and quality under pressure
- Promotion requires leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving
- Controls quality without supervision
- Can recover station after mistakes without service disruption
- Maintains standards when tired, busy, or understaffed
- Gives clear instructions to juniors during service
- Takes responsibility for station performance, not excuses
Hygiene and Safety:
Ensure all kitchen hygiene standards are met and maintained.
Dish Presentation:
Ensure outstanding food presentation in line with Silk's commitment to an elevated dining experience.
Candidate Specification:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar kitchen role. Expertise in Asian cuisine is an advantage but not mandatory as you shall be trained by Asian chefs to learn the techniques and understanding of the flavors associated with Asian cuisine.
Exceptional food presentation skills: with a keen eye for plating and visual appeal and demonstrate proficiency in traditional and modern culinary techniques.
A flexible and adaptable approach, willing to work across all sections of the kitchen and ensure efficiency in high-pressure environments.
Kind and empathic manner in dealing with co-workers.
A commitment to maintaining high food quality standards at all times.
Professional certification in the culinary trade or equivalent qualification.
Required languages: English working level is required.
