About the Role:
As a Middle School Teacher of Italian History & Geography, you will play a key role in shaping engaging and inclusive learning experiences that inspire curiosity and independence. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, using a range of teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and bring your subject to life. You will foster a positive classroom environment where high expectations, creativity, and strong relationships underpin student success.
You will monitor and assess student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, and contribute to reporting and wider school activities. Working collaboratively with colleagues and engaging with parents, you will support each student’s academic and personal development. You will also actively contribute to school life through events, trips, and ongoing professional development, while upholding safeguarding responsibilities at all times
This role will start on Sept 2, 2026 on a part-time, fixed term contract to June, 30 2027 - 8hrs/week.
Who We Are Looking For:
You are a passionate and committed educator with strong subject knowledge in Italian History and Geography. You hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, with at least two years’ experience in a classroom setting.
You bring excellent communication and organisational skills, alongside the ability to create an inclusive and well-managed learning environment. You are adaptable, collaborative, and motivated to continuously develop your practice. Most importantly, you are dedicated to supporting students’ wellbeing and progress, and to contributing positively to a vibrant school community.
