Job Description:

Develop and execute tests on the lab bench per the validation plan during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product to ensure functionality and performance as per the datasheet.

Interactions with the design team to provide statistical data and aid in sensor improvement.

Develop automated test framework, regression test suites in LabVIEW, Python and/or MATLAB to optimize validation efficiency

Collaborate closely with IC Design engineers and Systems engineers to understand requirements and use cases.

Debug analog/digital silicon issues, board issues and Validation software/hardware tools issues.

Analyze test results and identify failures/defects.

Think beyond the datasheet and around design corners to find elusive bugs. Able to think of test cases and customer usage model that may violate the assumptions of designers and systems engineers.

Test and debug the FPGA model and perform full-chip emulation on FPGA platform

Evaluation performance and reliability testing, process variation assessment and yield analysis.

Work with validation peers to implement best practices and continuous improvements to INVENSENSE validation methodologies

Being proactive in improving the HW platform (based on microcontrollers/FPGAs) and the SW test platform
-
Effective and clear written and oral communication skills.

Good organizational skills with attention to details.

Understanding digital communication protocols.
-
Knowledge of C for real-time test development, Verilog and C# is a plus but not mandatory.
Qualification:
-
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7- 9 years of experience in related field OR MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5 - 7 years of experience.

Experience in automotive field is a plus
The compensation package offered for this position is the following:
-
RAL (Gross Annual Salary) from 50K to 60K €.

Variable compensation depending on personal and Corporate performances: of up to 30%
-

The salary range is relative to the specified job grade offered, which may vary based on the candidate's actual experience.
For this specific position, we are also considering candidates with less experience.
