MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of consistent and reliable system configurations

Possess a solid understanding of configuration management principles and a developing skillset in configuration identification, control, and auditing
-
Assist in the development and implementation of configuration management plans and procedures, ensuring adherence to organizational standards

Participate in configuration audits, analyzing configuration data, and contributing to the identification of areas for improvement
-
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating configuration information and supporting the integration of configuration management processes into the development lifecycle

They support configuration management databases (CMDB), version control systems, and change management processes
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Four (4) years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree

Two (2) or more years configuration management experience.

Experience in configuration management, with a focus on analysis, documentation, and auditing.

Experience with configuration management databases (CMDB) and tools.
Desired Qualifications:

Experience with office productivity applications
-
ITIL Foundation certification
-
Experience with GENAI or similar AI systems
-
Relevant configuration management certifications (e.g., CMII). CompTIA Security+ or similar security certification
-
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired
Clearance Requirements:

Must have a current/active SECRET security clearance
