BI Support Engineer
Within the OneVision BI Global Data Ops Team, the BI Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, monitoring and operational continuity of Business Intelligence production environments. Working under the governance of the Global Data Ops Team, the role focuses on monitoring BI applications, supporting production deployments, identifying performance issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of BI services.
The ideal candidate has experience working with Business Intelligence solutions handling large volumes of data and demonstrates strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and support Business Intelligence production environments, ensuring system availability, stability and operational continuity.

Design, implement and maintain monitoring tools and alerting strategies to proactively identify and resolve production issues.

Analyse system performance, investigate incidents and perform troubleshooting activities to minimize service disruptions.

Support the planning, validation and execution of production deployments, ensuring successful releases and minimal business impact.

Develop, maintain and update operational documentation, including recovery procedures and production support guidelines.

Maintain production standards, scheduling criteria and operational processes for BI jobs and data pipelines.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure and data teams to resolve production issues and improve the reliability of BI solutions.

Identify opportunities to optimize monitoring processes, production workflows and overall BI platform performance.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

Experience working in Business Intelligence environments and supporting production systems.

Good knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server database platform.

Experience with Microsoft BI Suite and a solid understanding of the complete BI technology stack.

Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development and reporting solutions is considered a plus.

Knowledge of ETL tools, Azure cloud technologies and DataDog monitoring platform is considered a plus.

Familiarity with additional Microsoft BI technologies such as SSAS and related analytical services is considered an advantage.

Professional command of English, both written and spoken.
In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria)
Employment Category: White-collar employee
Gross Annual Salary (RAL): between €26.843,44 and € 33.058,74 gross per year, paid over 13 monthly installments.
The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level (C2, C3, B1 or B2 under the applicable CCNL) will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
