The role will be involved in all activities related to electromagnetic compatibility at the system, subsystem, and equipment levels throughout the entire lifecycle of a space mission: from the initial design phase to integration, testing, and launch. Responsibilities: • Independently manage all activities related to ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for systems, subsystems, and equipment. • Contribute to the design, analysis, evaluation, and/or simulation of issues related to EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and their corresponding mitigation strategies. • Support activities from the early design stage to final integration, verification testing, and the launch phase. • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation (specifications, control plans, test plans & reports, analyses). • Perform EMC troubleshooting in the laboratory for pre-compliance or compliance activities according to ECSS or MIL standards. • Assess test setups and support AIT/AIV activities with particular focus on EMC aspects. • Contribute to the evaluation of charging effects caused by the space environment.
