JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, this role contributes, with a high degree of autonomy, to the preparation of Prada S.p.A. financial reporting and collaborates with the Record-to-Report (R2R) team to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the Financial Reporting Manager in coordinating activities with the R2R team and the Statutory Planning team, including:
- Analyzing and preparing reports on the accounting impact of Purchase Orders (POs) for the recognition of accruals in the financial statements
- Analyzing and preparing reports on the accounting impact of Purchase Orders (POs) for the capitalization of fixed assets, with a particular focus on CAPEX analyses
- Assessing the collectability and settlement profile of trade receivables and trade payables
- Analyzing financial statement comparability and identifying the drivers of variances
- Supporting statutory and financial audit activities
- Conducting in-depth analyses of complex accounting matters and overseeing their implementation within the company
- Participating in special Headquarter projects in the areas of finance and accounting
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably within the Finance function of fashion industry groups and/or in audit firms
Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
Good command of the English language
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong sense of accountability and reliability, with a proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, and foster a positive, results-oriented team environment
