Role Overview
As our Senior Brand Designer, you will own Skillvue’s visual identity end-to-end, from building and maintaining our identity system to producing sharp, curated content across social, product, and science communication. This is a hands-on creative leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and strong execution. You will craft the visual language that makes a complex, AI-powered product feel clear, credible, and compelling, and bring it to life through motion, video, and brand storytelling.
Beyond identity, this person will play a crucial role in co-leading content marketing and growth marketing, owning the creative output across campaigns, events, and every touchpoint where Skillvue shows up in front of new prospects and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Skillvue’s visual identity system: logo, typography, colour, iconography, and layout grids
- Art-direct all brand expressions: website, product launches, marketing content, outbound campaigns, events, and hiring campaigns
- Craft sharp messaging in close collaboration with founders, product, marketing, and sales teams
- Produce and edit video content end-to-end, from concept and storyboard through motion design, editing, and final delivery across all formats
- Build and maintain a scalable design system usable by internal teams and external partners
- Translate complex AI and science concepts into clear, engaging visual narratives
Requirements & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, ideally within a product, SaaS, or tech context
- A portfolio that demonstrates curation: you know what to remove, not just what to add
- Proven ability to work at both strategic and execution level, from concept to final file
- Hands-on motion design and video editing skills, proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, or equivalent
- Comfortable distilling complex scientific or product ideas into visual and written clarity
- Experience producing short-form video content independently for social or web
- Strong business awareness with the ability to align design decisions with brand and commercial goals
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and creative rigour
- Collaborative by nature: you share knowledge openly, work closely with cross-functional teams, and become a trusted creative reference point across the organisation
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments is a plus
