Avionic Test Engineer:
TXT E-TECH, a company within the TXT Group, is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to join the Embedded Systems Business Unit within the Aerospace & Defence division. The successful candidate will be involved in the verification and validation of embedded avionics software, contributing to the development, execution and certification of software systems in accordance with relevant aeronautical standards.
Main responsibilities:
Development of automated tests in LUA;
Execution of unit and component tests on avionics test benches;
Software verification and validation activities;
Analysis of high-level functional requirements and system requirements;
Participation in avionics certification processes, including peer reviews, structural coverage and the production of technical documentation.
Technical requirements:
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems;
Software testing methodology;
Basic knowledge of the C/C++ programming language;
Excellent command of English.
Optional technical requirements:
Knowledge of LUA languages;
Familiarity with avionics equipment and version control tools such as Git;
Experience in preparing and executing Requirement-Based Testing (RBT) for the verification of embedded real-time software in the avionics sector;
Knowledge of the RTCA DO-178C standard;
Knowledge of the IBM Rational DOORS tool;
Knowledge of the Serena Dimensions tool;
Knowledge of the MathWorks Polyspace tool (Bug Finder and Code Prover).
The profile is rounded off by good teamwork skills, the ability to organise one’s own work independently, proactivity and problem-solving skills.
Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electronics/Mechatronics/Aerospace/Automation.
