PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER
The Production Planning Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all production planning activities to ensure optimal service levels, customer satisfaction, and efficient utilization of manufacturing resources. The role acts as a key link between Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistic and Customer Service, ensuring the alignment of production plans with business objectives while balancing capacity, inventory, and cost targets.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the mid and long-term production planning strategies.

Lead the production planning team and ensure the effective execution of planning processes and priorities.

Manage demand forecasts into feasible production plans, balancing customer requirements, manufacturing capacity, and inventory objectives.

Prepare and manage RCCP (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning) by integrating Demand Planning forecasts, ERP data, and operational constraints.

Monitor production plan adherence and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.

Define and track planning KPIs, analyze root causes of deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Optimize inventory policies, safety stocks, planning parameters, and reorder settings to achieve target service levels while minimizing working capital through daily master data accuracy within ERP systems (SAP).

Support S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes by providing accurate capacity and production scenarios.

Lead cross-functional meetings aimed at improving supply reliability, service performance, and operational efficiency.

Support new product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and portfolio rationalization activities from a planning perspective.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and certifications (e.g., IFS, ISO standards), actively contributing to risk prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.

Fluency in English
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain functions.

Previous experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Food, Pharmaceutical, or other high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

Proven experience in managing planning teams and coordinating cross-functional projects.

Advanced knowledge of production planning and scheduling methodologies (MTS, MTO, ATO, Kanban, finite capacity planning).

Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, and Capacity Planning processes.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience managing external manufacturers and subcontractors.

Familiarity with S&OP / IBP processes and demand-supply balancing techniques.

The role is classified under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical Industry (CCNL Industria Chimica).
Base Salary Range € 40.000 - € 50.000
The final compensation package will be defined in accordance with the selected candidate's professional experience, competencies, and qualifications.
