Responsibilities
a highly motivated Mission Control System Engineer to join the Ground Segment engineering team.
The resource will participate in the design, development, integration and maintenance of mission control and communication systems with satellites. The resource will be involved in all phases of the system life cycle, from requirements definition to system operation, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.
Key responsibilities

Design the high level architecture of the Mission Control System, and specify its main functionalities.

Define MCS requirements and interfaces, including Space to Ground IF and Ground to Ground IF.

Collaborate with satellite specialists for the integration of telemetry, tracking & command (TT&C).

Follow MIB construction and maintenance, coordinating the input from satellite manufactures and the activities of MIB specialists.

Conduct integration, validation and verification, and testing to ensure that system requirements and performance are met.

Support real-time operations during critical mission phases (launch, LEOP, commissioning).

Prepare system related documentation (Specifications, Design, Technical Notes, User Manuals, Test Procedures and Reports).

Technical management of suppliers, including preparation of SoW and WPD, review of the deliverables associated with MCS components.

Support the operations team to develop, validate, and implement operational procedures for satellite command and control.

Participate to periodic technical meetings.

Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and technological innovation in the field of mission control.
