Summary: The role of QA / Testing Engineer focuses on validating vehicle software functions, specifically through Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over-the-Air (OTA) validation. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of automotive software systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
- Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.
- Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
- Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.
- Proficiency in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including UDS (ISO 14229) and CAN protocols.
- Experience with OTA validation and testing.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools.
- Experience with CAPL scripting for test automation.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
