Overview
We are seeking a committed and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team in Meda. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography, supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and linguistic development within a bilingual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography for primary-aged students
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and active learning
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, communication, critical thinking, and enquiry skills
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of bilingual learners
- Collaborate closely with Italian colleagues to ensure effective co-teaching and curriculum integration
- Foster students' personal, social, and emotional development
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Use formative assessment strategies to support student learning and achievement
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the school
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and project-based learning opportunities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, educational visits, and school initiatives
