HUMS System Engineer, with experience/interest in Advanced Diagnostic Systems development.
The role will cover most of LHD Helicopter types and will include activities from the conceptual definition up to the deployment in service besides innovative solutions.
The role requires interaction with almost all technical areas and customer support combined with an open minded and proactive approach.

SKILLS.
Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or HNC/HND/BTEC and Apprenticeship, plus appropriate experience.
Experience in mechanical and/or structural engineering role is desirable; experience in transmission engineering is also desirable; ideally some additional experience in, or knowledge of, systems engineering, avionics systems and propulsion systems is also desirable.
Knowledge and experience of signal processing and vibration/dynamics; knowledge/experience of health and usage monitoring an advantage.
Fluency in standard ‘office’ applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint’).
Experience in MATLAB is highly desirable together with experience of the DATS data analysis tool.
Good interpersonal skills required for dealing with a range of LH departments (many other engineering depts., Flight Operations, CSS&T) as well as in-service support to the UK MOD and MILEX customers.
Flexibility and adaptability to work both independently and within teams
Have knowledge and understanding of the relevant airworthiness regulations.
Experience with the usage of the DOORS Requirements Management Tool (or similar) is highly desirable.
