A warm and welcoming football family are relocating to Milan and are looking for an exceptional Norland Nanny to join them as they begin this exciting new chapter.
The family has three children: a nine-year-old, who will not be in Milan full-time, and two boys aged seven and three. The nanny’s main focus will be supporting the younger children, creating a happy, engaging and well-structured environment while helping them settle into their new home and routine.
The family is looking for someone personable, bubbly and naturally engaging, with the energy and warmth to build a genuine connection with the children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and confident planning age-appropriate activities, outings and educational play.
Applications are welcomed from both newly qualified Norland Nannies and experienced Norlanders. For a newly qualified candidate, the family would value maturity, enthusiasm and a willingness to grow with them. More experienced candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong background working with school-aged children and younger children within a private household.
Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, developmentally focused care for the children
- Supporting school and nursery routines
- Planning engaging activities, outings and educational play
- Managing the children’s schedules, belongings and day-to-day organisation
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Supporting homework and encouraging the children’s interests
- Working closely and collaboratively with the parents
- Travelling with the family when required
- Helping the children settle into life in Milan
Candidate requirements:
- Norland qualified or currently completing the Norland qualification
- Warm, positive, bubbly and highly personable
- Confident caring for children aged three to nine
- Professional, discreet and comfortable working within a high-profile household
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of a football family
- Organised, proactive and able to use initiative
- A confident driver would be advantageous
- Fluent English is essential; Italian would be a bonus but is not required
Package:
- Five days per week
- Approximately 50 hours per week
