FP&A Planning & Insights Lead
The challenge
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Lead to join our Finance, Performance & Analysis team based in our European HQ in Vimercate (MB). This role is pivotal in driving financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial planning and reporting processes across the organization.
What you will do
Main Activities:

Coordinate the preparation and presentation of executive-level reports and financial reviews, synthesizing data from various departments and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Drive the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring consistency and integrity across scenarios and alignment with business goals.

Act as a key finance partner to business controlling functions, leading ad hoc analysis and strategic assessments to support decision-making.

Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.

Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture within the function.
What you need to succeed
Must have
Professional Experience: 8–10 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Finance roles, preferably in a multinational industrial company or consulting firm.
Experience & Qualifications:

Proven track record in leading planning cycles and financial reporting processes.

Solid understanding of financial modeling, business analytics, and performance management.
Soft Skills:

Teamwork oriented, strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders.

Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Strong project management skills and capability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Technical Skills:

Advanced in Excel and Powerpoint

Experience with Power BI, VBA-Programming or other BI tools

Familiarity with Oracle EPM suite (SmartView, Essbase) is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Access and ThinkCell is a plus.
Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, Chinese is a plus.

Minimum Gross Annual Salary: € 60.000
The position includes access to an individual or collective variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs); alternatively, any additional variable compensation components or benefits will be governed by the applicable company policies.
