Junior IT Project Manager:
HSPI S.p.A., an IT consulting company operating for over 20 years and part of TXT Group, provides its clients with Business Consulting, IT Governance, and Digital Innovation services.
HSPI S.p.A. is looking for an IT Project Manager to join one of its most important clients operating in the Public Administration sector.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in the role and will support the planning and monitoring of IT projects related to the client’s information systems environment.
Main Responsibilities
Support the planning of project activities and the definition of milestones and deliverables
Monitor project progress in terms of timelines, costs, resources, and risks
Support the preparation of project status reports, progress reports, and project dashboards
Collect, update, and manage project documentation
Support operational coordination with technical teams, internal stakeholders, and client representatives
Contribute to project communication and governance activities
Support the identification of critical issues and the definition of corrective actions
Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards for project monitoring, using DAX language for data modeling
Contribute to the automation of operational and data collection activities through Python scripting
What technical skills should you have?
Project Management fundamentals — knowledge of key project management concepts and tools, including activity planning, milestone and deliverable definition, project status monitoring, and management of risks, costs, and timelines
Microsoft Office Suite — strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel for reporting, data analysis, and project monitoring activities
Project documentation management — ability to create, update, and organize project documentation, progress reports, operational dashboards, and supporting materials
IT environments and information systems — familiarity with structured IT environments and information systems dynamics, enabling effective interaction with technical teams and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Python — basic knowledge focused on data analysis and automation activities, with familiarity in libraries such as Pandas, openpyxl, or equivalent
Power BI and DAX language — ability to create reports and interactive dashboards for data analysis and project monitoring
Waterfall and Agile methodologies — basic knowledge of the main project management approaches
Project Management certifications — certifications such as ISIPM, PRINCE2, PMI Foundation, or equivalent training courses will be considered a plus
Experience in Public Administration — previous experience working on projects within Public Administration environments will be considered an advantage
