The Addetto/a al Magazzino (Warehouse Operative / Magazziniere) is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within the warehouse. This role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment when required.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock control.
- Label, scan, and record goods using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure products are handled safely to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and scanning systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
- Forklift certification is an advantage but not mandatory (if applicable).
