Job Title: Assistant Manager

Position Summary
The Assistant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations. This includes driving sales, managing team performance, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. The Assistant Manager acts as the second-in-command and must be ready to assume full managerial responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Team Management
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve individual and store-wide goals.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing labor costs to meet budget requirements.
2. Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily store/office opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and oversee supply ordering.
- Maintain the facility's appearance and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Implement and enforce loss prevention and security protocols.
3. Customer/Client Experience
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the team delivers a world-class customer experience consistent with the brand.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., NPS, reviews) and implement action plans for improvement.
4. Sales & Financial Performance
- Assist in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Analyze sales reports and P&L statements to identify trends and opportunities.
- Implement visual merchandising standards and promotional strategies.
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and bank reconciliation.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [2-4] years of experience in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in [Retail/Hospitality/Corporate] environment.
