To strengthen its presence in the Italian market, CKD Italia is looking for a Fluid Media & Sensor Specialist – Technical Sales Engineer focused on the development of business opportunities within the Food & Pharmaceutical industries.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of CKD’s Fluid Control and Sensor business across the Italian market, with a particular focus on Food, Pharma, and Life Science applications.
The role combines technical consulting, application engineering, and business development activities, supporting customers in the selection and implementation of fluid handling and sensing solutions for industrial process applications.
The candidate will act as a specialist reference for OEMs, End Users, engineering companies, and end users, contributing to the expansion of CKD’s market presence in strategic industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the Italian market within Food, Pharma, and Life Science industries
- Promote CKD’s portfolio related to:
-Fluid control components;
-Process valves and solenoid valves;
-Sensors and monitoring solutions;
-Pneumatic and process automation technologies;
-Factory Automation related from components to assembled units.
- Provide technical and application support to customers and partners
- Identify customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions
- Manage relationships with OEMs, integrators, engineering firms, and key accounts
- Conduct technical presentations, customer visits, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new application opportunities
- Participate in trade fairs, industry events, and technical seminars
Candidate Profile
- Technical education background (Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in technical sales within fluid control, sensors, or process technologies
- Experience in Food, Pharmaceutical, or Life Science applications is highly preferred
- Knowledge of fluid handling systems, process automation, sensors, or pneumatic technologies
- Strong ability to manage technical discussions with engineering and operations teams
- Business development mindset combined with strong technical aptitude
- Availability to travel frequently across Italy
- Fluent Italian and good English communication skills

Preferred Location
