Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical operations, ensuring the security of our data, managing vendor relationships, and aligning our technology strategy with business goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can bridge the gap between technical complexities and executive business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals (system admins, help desk, and developers).
- Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, and ROI analysis on technology investments.
- Communicate technology strategy and performance metrics to C-level executives and stakeholders.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all network servers, storage, cloud systems (e.g., AWS/Azure), and telecommunications.
- Ensure high availability of critical systems and manage disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
- Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets (procurement, deployment, retirement).
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Lead risk assessment initiatives and manage incident response protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, PCI-DSS).
Vendor & Project Management
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors, MSPs, and service providers.
- Lead major IT projects (e.g., ERP implementations, cloud migrations, office expansions) utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee the help desk to ensure high levels of end-user satisfaction and SLA adherence.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- 5–8+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in cloud computing (Azure/AWS/GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Experience with cybersecurity tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA) and zero-trust architecture.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make high-pressure decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate "tech-speak" to business language.

Pay: €33,252.26 - €73,470.21 per year
