The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.
We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Mechanical Engineering Expert.
THE IMPACT: S/He leads and coordinates the mechanical design team in developing new products and driving continuous improvement within the assigned product category, ensuring innovative and technically excellent solutions while meeting timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supervise the mechanical development process of new projects, from the conceptual phase through to industrialization;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal integration of all product components;

Ensure the application of modularity principles in product development;

Plan and monitor the mechanical team’s timelines, resources, and budget;

Define and introduce new standards and tools to support design and BOM creation, ensuring a continuous improvement approach;

Oversee the status of analyses, simulations, and the generation of 2D and 3D models for mechanical component specifications;

Guide the mechanical design team in identifying project risks and proposing mitigation actions;

Collaborate with Quality, AME, and Procurement departments to define expected standards for products and components related to mechanical aspects.
- At least a Mechanical Technical Diploma, a degree in Mechanical Engineering will be considered a plus;

Full working proficiency in Italian, B2 level of English;

Good Knowledge CAD 3D (preferably CREO Parametrics);

Good knowledge of FME;

Knowledge of six sigma will be considered a plus;

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role;

Curiosity and team working will complete the profile.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a Level B3 classification, with a base gross annual salary starting from € 36.907, in line with the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria collective agreement.
